Historical Slavery in Thailand - Abolished in 1905

I recently learned that King Rama V (King Chulalongkorn) formally abolished slavery in Thailand in 1905. This was not very long ago, just over 100 years.

I tried to Google more info on this but could not find much.

Anyone have more info?
