Pattaya seems like it is the murder and "suicide" capital of Thailand. What's up with that? Thai and foreign mafia controlled?

Yes, Pattaya has a lot of organized crime at all levels, drugs, prostitution, and protection rackets.
However, keep in mind that in Thailand, some consider the police "organized crime" as they have low salaries, in general, and corruption is the rule more than the exception.
Hahahaha,
Yes, Thailand is funny. Seems almost every foreigner who is murdered is ruled a "suicide".
Recently someone was murdered in Bangkok and their head hung from a bridge or something and they body ripped off at the neck, was found in the river.
Now, in all the thousands of years of hanging and hanging by suicide, we have never seen the body complete ripped off the neck have we?
But in Thailand, these somewhat regular killings are ruled a "suicide" .... ;)
Pattaya isn't the only city with foreign mafia syndicates...but perhaps second to none in Thailand? A lot of people think it is just media hype that blames it on mafia but this article thailawforum.com/foreign-mafia-thailand.html breaks down mafias by nationality, their activities in Thailand and cities they're active in. The author, however, seems to think foreign mafias are behind a lot of the "suicides" going on in Thai beach towns.
